Beginner Handstand Starter
Build your handstand foundation in 6 weeks
Beginner Handstand Starter is a simple 6-week program for anyone who wants to learn handstand from the ground up.
You will build stronger wrists, better shoulder control, a cleaner body line and more confidence upside down. The goal is not to rush into a perfect freestanding handstand, but to build a foundation you can trust.
Train 3 times per week. Go through the videos in order and keep each session calm, controlled and pain free.
Week 1 - 2, Foundation
These first videos help your wrists, shoulders and body get used to the basic handstand positions.
Do them in order 3 times per week.
30 sec each, 1 round, rest when you need to.
Keep it calm and controlled.
Week 3 - 4, Wall Control
Now you start spending more time upside down.
These videos help you build better control at the wall, stronger shoulders and a cleaner body line.
Do them in order 3 times per week.
30 sec each, 1 - 2 rounds, rest when you need to.
Keep it calm and controlled and try no to chase balance yet.
Week 5 - 6, Balance Awareness
Now you start working more with the kick-up and small balance moments.
These videos help you control your entry, feel the balance and build confidence without relying fully on the wall.
Do them in order 3 times per week.
30 sec each, 2 rounds, rest when you need to.
Stay calm and don’t force the balance.
What happens after 6 weeks?
After 6 weeks, the goal is not that you can hold a perfect freestanding handstand.
The goal is that you feel stronger, safer and more confident upside down.
You should have better wrist strength, better shoulder control, a cleaner body line and a better understanding of how balance feels.
From here, you can keep repeating the last phase, continue building your kick-ups and slowly spend more time working on small balance moments.
A good handstand takes time, this is just the foundation.
